So I'm pretty sure today's Oprah was a rerun but Garth Brooks was on there and I completely forgot how much I really really liked him. It was just Garth and his guitar singing "unanswered prayers" and "the dance". I must say brought tears to my eyes! I know all the words to both songs but hearing "the dance" today had a whole new meaning to me. I love moments that make me think about Mary Chandler and Garth singing that song gave me one of those precious moments.

Here they are!! My 3 best friends. I don't know if anyone is as lucky as me in the friend department. I often think of myself as a snob because I really don't care to make new friends because I have these 3 who I know I will be friends with literally the rest of my life. Now don't get me wrong. We have our moments and even our months that things are not so peachy but I love them like my sisters :)

I've also been blessed with another amazing friend who seriously just makes me smile. I really think that's why we are friends just so she can bring me happiness when I'm not feeling so "happy". It also helps she just a tad bit older I feel like I learn so much from her. She is an amazing mom and even more spectacular wife!

Engagement Party!

Let me start off by saying I have never attended an engagement party so I really didn't know what to expect. Boy oh boy was I in for a treat tonight!

The couple kept the date a secret until tonight as well as officially asking people to be a part of this special day. The theme for the party was Tiffanys. That should have been a dead giveaway but I was clueless. So we get to the house and there are tiffanys boxes at the front door with candles and amazing flower arrangements. As soon as we come in we are greeted by the couple and asked to please sign in and then.... A photographer took our picture!!! This may be normal procedure but I was impressed. So we make our way to the patio where we are served a "special" drink which just so happens to be Tiffany blue. The night was starting off great. At promptly 8 pm we were asked to gather in the living room. The couple comes out with a small replica of a wedding cake with the date 6-16-12!!! (more on this later)

The couple handed these adorable pieces of cake that looked like a wrapped tiffanys gift to each member of the wedding party. You can see in the picture that the name tag says "will you be my groomsmen?" super cute!!!

I could go on and on about how fantastic this party was and how great all the people were but I'm sleeeeeeepy!

Jeremy and I are headed to magnolia/El Dorado this weekend for an engagement party for one of Jeremys friends. No trip to south Arkansas is complete without visiting our Mary Chandler. I always regret not buying flowers here, so today I decided to go to Hobby Lobby. Buying flowers for her always brings out so many emotions for me. I'm happy that I'm getting to do something "motherly" for her but at the same time my heart physically aches that I visit my precious baby at a cemetery! It's a very surreal feeling every single time. I'm not sure if I'll ever get used to this... Anyways I went for yellow tulips to brighten things up and get ready for spring. I'll be sure to post some pics of her new flowers once I get them in their vase.

Here is a cute little thing I got to stick in the ground beside the flowers! I've been wanting one of these for a while so I think this one will carry us into summer :)

One year ago....

One year ago today about 7 pm-ish I got this strange feeling like I might be pregnant. It was entirely too early to test according to all the pregnancy test but I just thought I would give it a try.... Here is what I saw

Now I could see only a tad more than you are able to see in this picture. I turned this stick sideways, upside down, you name it. I was doing everything I could to determine if I was really seeing what I thought I saw. So of course Jeremy wasn't here at the moment I think he was at the gym so I immediately took a picture and sent it to my sister Carman. Of course she couldn't tell so the only next thing to do was go to the store and get the digital...

TADA!!!! I wasn't going crazy!

As I type these words I remember that feeling I had so vividly. I had been given everything I had ever wanted and could never have imagined in that moment what I was in store for over the next 6 months.

Well sweet miss maggie is currently weighing 8lbs 3ozs! She is due May 23rd and we can not freaking wait for her to get here :) this picture was taken today so she is pretty cramped up in there as you can tell..... Anyways just wanted to share the latest.
In Baby "H" news i called the dr. office today to see about scheduling the ultrasound for the 25th OF THIS MONTH!! EEK.... hopefully i will get a returned phone call tomorrow :) I am so anxious to find out what this baby is i can hardly freaking stand it.

Play Date

So Bella and I went to Memphis this weekend to hang out and do a little Christmas shopping with my friend Amy and her dog Birdie. The pups had such a good time playing together that i'm thinking Bella just might need a friend :) Also I think Amy and I realized how old we are getting because we sat around all night and all morning watching the dogs chase each other and actually found it quite entertaining!

So back in the day Amy and I worked at this gift shop in Senatobia, MS called Traditions... anyways during the winter we served the customers vanilla chai and we fell in love with the stuff. I've been wanting this chai for quite some time and low and behold Amy has some! Its soooo darn good and its CAFFEINE FREE! Needless to say I had to get some to bring home.

8 WEEKS PREGGO!!

I just cant believe i'm 8 weeks pregnant. I've been feeling really well (for the most part) and i'm thankful for that! Other than my afternoon crash and pretty much hungry all dang day i've been blessed. No nausea, morning sickness, hot flashes, NOTHING! I'm definitely thinking its gonna be boy... it seems like everyone i know is having boys and besides that i found this old chinese thing on www.thebump.com. Supposedly you put in what month you conceived and your age at the time of conception and it tells you what you are having... boy/girl. I guess we will find out soon enough how accurate it is. Dr. says i'm not having an ultrasound until i'm 18-20 weeks :( kind of a bummer but i guess it is only 10 weeks away!! Next month we are going to get to hear the heartbeat :)

Went to the dr. today and we are DEFINITELY preggo!!! I was right about the projected due date of JULY 18 (mark your calendars). I'm searching for the cord to my camera and i'll post a belly picture (dont really have one yet) as soon as i find it :)

So I practically pulled an "allnighter" last night to go to the movies with Whitney. She has been obsessing over the twilight movie so...being the nice sister I am..... went to the movies at 12:05 AM!!!!! I must admit I was a little skeptical about the whole "vampire" thing but I really liked the movie :) So guess i'll start reading the second book now!

My sister and the kids are here this weekend and my sister-in-law Allison got selected to be in a cheer competition tomorrow here in Bryant so we'll be going to watch her!!!! I'm taking my camera so i'll be sure and post pictures from all the weekend fun!

and with lots of exciting news.... WE ARE EXPECTING OUR FIRST BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I discovered this on the 11th around 10 a.m. I must admit... i've been waiting on this day to come my entire life and now that its here it feels so surreal. All i've ever wanted in life is to be a wife and mom and now its really happening!! So my initial reaction was total disbelief along with some tears. I immediately went to my moms work to show her the "pee stick" then met Jeremy at Subway (of all places) and showed him the "stick". He said "whats that mean?" with a huge grin on his face and I lost it again!! I don't have any details yet from the dr. but from my calculations it looks like a July baby!

So my amazing/wonderful/sweet/thoughtful husband has an entire weekend planned for us (for our anniversary) and the whole thing is a surprise for me!! I have no clue where we could be going but I'm sure its going to be great! He has even made dinner reservations :) Guess I better come up with something good for him.... so far I have no idea what to get him. SUGGESTIONS ANYONE!!!

I'm not complaining by any means but my beautiful cousin Hillary is on homecoming court tonight and its her senior year so hopefully she gets QUEEN!! Here is her picture from last year.... isnt she ridiculously gorgeous!

So since i've never carved a pumpkin we decided to do just that! Jeremy and I picked the hardest one I think... it was supposed to be "trick or treat" but we jacked it all up and never even finished.... I dont know how Jeremy did this as a child.... its really really hard! So we are gonna get another pumpkin and try again. I'll post some pictures of the new one once we finish it.

I threw in a couple pictures of Bella too! She got a hair cut and it looks horrible... they scalped her so we had to get here a shirt to cover up her skinny body :( Needless to say I wasnt very happy with the groomers!

well this week wasnt as impressive as last week but i lost 1.4 lbs. i prefer to focus on the total for the 2 weeks.... 6.2!! that sounds much better.
well baby sister is graduating tomorrow and all the family is headed to town so it should be a busy weekend! OH and jeremy and i are headed to bartlesville friday to check the place out... its a good possibility thats where we are going.

So I joined Weight Watchers yesterday and made a commitment to do it for 10 weeks!!
We go to the beach July 12th which is exactly 10 weeks.... so wish me luck :)

So it was prom for Whitney on Saturday.... Cant believe she is a senior!!! Anyways Carman and Jason and the kids came up so we had a great time... Friday we cooked out then Saturday was Whitney's day. She got her nails and toes done then off to hair and make-up! So this is my dream tub! I got a chandelier for Christmas like 3 years ago and i'm waiting until i get a bathtub like this to hang it! These things are really expensive but are sooooo worth it. This one is a "2 seater" and is 71" long!!! One day :)

You may have trouble finding it but keep looking. I had not seen it in our Wal-mart or Kroger and then one day there it was! I'm sure the other people in Wal-mart thought I was crazy but I was so pumped that they FINALLY had some in stock!

Today is Molly's birthday! Cant believe she is 6 stinking years old! Seems like yesterday she was being born. As for some more news..... we have added a new addition to our family.... BELLA ;) she is a 9 week old goldendoodle! She is precious.... she is so black that you can hardly see her in pictures. its a good thing we are so fond of her because last night was terrible!! we didnt sleep a wink.... but hopefully in a few weeks we'll have each other figured out.

today is jeremys birthday... he is the big "25". we celebrated last night at my parents. they cooked him some steak and we had cupcakes. i took some pictures so i'll put them up soon. he got a grill from my parents and nothing from me yet... he wants a dang driver that cost like 400 bucks and i just think thats silly! well other than jeremys birthday its just another day at work. my friend whitney and i are supposed to workout tonight.... i did some crunches on monday and i'm still sore!! how freaking pathetic is that! well thats all for now... have a great day :)
